Camping

Well, we tried to go camping for the long weekend but the weather would not let us. It was so rainy and cold that we did not want to stay the night. So we did the next best thing, we came home every night---yea a bath for everyone!!! Lillee however did not like this, she really wanted to stay in the camper. Oh well we have all summer to go camping. The kids had a great time even with the bad weather--we made the best of it. Hopefully the weather will get better so we can go camping.

Lillee is a HUGE fan of her DAD!! She loves to do anything dad is doing. Well now that the wether is somewhat warm out (only on some days), she thinks she needs to spend every mintue outside with her dad or just out doing tricks on her swing set with her neighbor friend, Quinn. Trent brought home the camp trailer for them to play in, they do yard work, feed dogs, clean shed and much, much more. Its so cute to watch the two of them togheter. Trent does so well with her and I think Trax will follow too.

Traxon can now sit up! He started to sit up just a couple of days before he turned 6 months, Yes I said 6 months. Where does the time go? He loves to sit up and play with all of the fun toys now. Lillee likes hime sitting up to cause she can play more with him.

I am so proud of my dancers!! We had our show last weekend and a competition this weekend. They worked so hard on their dances and proved to me that they were good!! I have to brag a little cause I am their dance teacher. They did well at their show and at the competition. Let me brag so more--My oldest class took 1st in hip-hop out of 4 other dance teams (which was not our best dance but they went out and performed it well), my K-2nd graders took first out of 3 and they looked so cute out there dancing. My poor preschool class only had 2 show up (and NO my little sweet Lillee was not one of them, in fact she would not dance at the show or the competition. GO FIGURE, she's the dance teachers daughter, who knows what shes doing). But the two who danced did such a good job, everyone thought they did wonderful!! Overall I'm proud of my dancers and also glad to have dancing over for the year.

Trenton is a big lion hunter. He has four hounds that he goes hunting with. He has caught several lions this year but I have not had time to post them and now I have a little time so I can now. He got this young lion on Thursday with 2 of his dogs while the other 2 were treeing another lion. This scares me because I don't like the idea of him that close to a lion by himself but he is just fine with it (I think he is a little crazy but oh well he loves to do it). Traxon's 2nd Hair Cut!!

Traxon is going to get pictures tomorrow and so I decided to have Dickcie cut it for me. He has already had one cut but I did not get pictures. I got some this time. His hair was so long that when I tried to give him a Mohawk, it would stand up and curl. It looked like I curled it that way and he looked funny. Now, he has a handsome crew cut. I can spike it or give him a Mohawk.

My Little Dancer!!!

She will not go to her dance class, she refuses to go. Recently her class had a performance and I did not tell my family about it cause I did not think she would perform because she never dances. Right before we left she wanted her dance costume on and her shoes. SO I hurried and got her ready. When we got there she wanted to go down on the floor and dance. And to my SHOCK she got out there and did a really good job. Her dad and everyone missed it cause she never wants to do things like that. I was so PROUD of her for getting out there and doing her dance!!!

This was Lillee's but he is finally big enough for it. He really likes to sit in this and play for a long time. Look how big he is getting.

We are so super crazy at our house lately!!! Between school (grades and year end testing) and dance ( pictures, dance show and competition) I am going crazy not to mention my lovely kids too. They are growing and Traxon is close to sitting up and wants to so bad. Lillee is at the GREAT 3 year old stage where she thinks she can do just about anything she wants, including bossing everyone around.

Traxon Rolled Over

I know kids grow so fast!!! Traxon rolled over on Monday Feb. 23 just one day shy of being 4 months old. The only bad part about him rolling over was that I was at work and did not see the first two rolls. But guess who did? Trenton and Lillee which is good cause dad and sister were so excited to see it. As soon as it happened Lillee called me at work and she was so excited that I could barely understand what she was saying. Now he is getting good at rolling over and we can't keep him on his back anymore. We also started feeding him rice cereal and he loves it. Lillee likes to feed it to him too, she is such a big helpler. She thinks she is the mom sometimes and I have to remind her that I am the mom and she is a big sister. They are so cute together!!! I will get some pictures posted soon of the little ones and the new things Traxon is doing.

know, I know . It has been a really long time since I posted, but I really have been so busy!! After the New Year, I went back to work. YES, it was really hard to leave my little boy and lets don't forget my beautiful Princess but I had to do it. So I am just trying to get back into the swing of things again. And let me tell you, it has been rough, my days are so long and crazy. I forgot how crazy my schedule was until I went back to it and so it has taken me a while to get settled into my routine. Weekends come and go to fast. My kids are growing fast. Lillee is still her funny self, saying the funniest things and being a mom to Traxon. She is such a good helper. She wants to be with him all the time. She even wants to change his diaper, bath him, make his bottle and so on. She loves him so much and she is so good with him. Traxon is starting to show his personality and he is so much fun. He is starting to laugh and trying to roll over. He got his first HAIR HOCK cut (that's what Lillee calls a Mohawk). I put his hair in a Mohawk and it was so long that it did not work so we cut his hair. It looks so cute. I forgot how fast they learn things and how much they change in a short time period.
I will try to keep everyone up to date. Maybe if I but it in my planner I will be better at posting. Meg---this ones for you!!! Thanks for making me feel bad about not posting!!

Look how cute!! Lillee is trying to hold her cousin Megan while we were camping this summer. Megan is about 4 monthes old here. Lillee loves to play with Megan and hold her. She is such a motherly little girl.

Guess Who's Coming to Visit?

On Wednesday, Nov. 5 (day after the election) Lillee kept asking me who that man was on the TV. I told her that his name was Barack Obama and he is going to be our new President. Well all day long she watched the news with me, and boy she had lots of questions about our new President. We talked about him then left it. Every time she sees him on TV she talks about our new President. Now she can recognize him anywhere and she knows a lot about him (which surprises me cause my family and Trent's family are not into politics so we don't know why she wants to know about him). Then out of the blue she asks me if I have Barack Obama's phone number so she can call him. I told her that I didn't know it so she called Grandma Lou, Brigid and Grandma Haw to find his phone number and no one had it. My little Lillee was devastated that she could not call our President so she then got the idea that he was coming to our house. She cleaned for hours getting ready for Barack Obama to come to her house. After she cleaned she packed her bag because he was going to have a sleep over and they were going to go to his house when they woke up. Now she still thinks he is coming for a sleep over and tells everyone that he will be here for a sleep over tomorrow. So I guess Barack Obama is coming for a sleep over soon if you would like to come visit.

Lillee wanted to be a little mermaid for Halloween so we picked out the cutest mermaid costume for her. Well, we get it home and I want her to try it on and she won't, she says she will tomorrow so I keep on trying everyday. Everyday she says the same thing "I will tomorrow" but she never does. After trying everyday for about a week I give up. At this point it is Thursday and she now wants to be Tinker Bell. I am thinking to myself where in Emery County can I possibly get a Tinker Bell costume ( just to let you know, there is no place to get Tinker Bell) luckily my sister in law is in Price and is going to get one for me (Thank Heavens for sister in laws). She found one (not to bad for last minute put together) and Lillee loved the costume so much that I could not get it off of her. After a long day of playing, I start to fix her hair for the parade but while I am doing her hair she falls to sleep. I let her sleep for a short time (this was not a good thing) she woke up so cross, she threw the biggest fit for about 20 minutes then finally calmed down enough to go trick or treating with her cousin Katie and Uncle Kory. I did not want to take Traxon out so I stayed home and passed out candy to the other kids. She went to the carnival with the Nelson Family and she had so much fun!!I had to miss out on all the fun this year but I can't wait until next year, now I have two who will be trick or treating and I will get to dress up too.

Baby Traxon

Traxon T. Tuttle was welcomed to our family on October 24, 2008 at 10:24 am in Payson, UT. He weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz and was 21 inches. His big sister Lillee is such a big fan of his. She always wants to help and be with him for every diaper change and feeding. Now dad (Trent) has his little hunter and his little princess ( and she is all that too).

Trent's Lifetime Elk hunt

Trenton and his dad have been waiting 13 years to draw out on the ELK hunt and finally they both drew out this year, YEAH!!! I unfortunately had to work and was 8 1/2 months pregnant so I was unable to attend the hunt of a lifetime (darn it!!!)
His dad had a rifle tag and Trent had a muzzleloader tag. His dad got his elk which was a 6 point that scored 340. He was happy with that but Trent wanted something that was bigger then his dad's so that is what he set out for. Well he did it, he got a bigger one then his dad. Trent's was a 6 point but his scored 355 HOORAY!!! He did not get off the mountain until 10:45 that night. After returning home and showing off to family (who we had to wake up) we had to pack the elk with lots of ice (12 bags) because our taxidermist is in Bluffdale. The next day we had to rush the elk up there. I am glad to have the elk hunt over with and to finally have an elk but I am not happy about how much the mount is going to be. I don't have to worry about that though cause Trent is taking care of that.
